Goa Congress protests outside the CEO office, demanding the arrest of CEC Gyanesh Kumar. Protesters allege “vote theft” and target the CEC over the SIR exercise. They also burnt the effigee of Kumar. Meanwhile. Speaking to media Goa Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Sanjay Goel said the entire SIR process was conducted transparently, with no complaints received after its completion apart from a handful of queries that were disposed of. He said 97 voters have since been included, while those still missing can submit Form 6 and vote in the coming election.
