KERRY COLLINS - Senior Highlights (1994)

As the epitome of a precision pocket-passer, Collins turned in one of the most efficient passing seasons in college football history while directing an offense that was one for the ages. He had a passing efficiency rating that was fourth highest in college history at that time, while winning the Davey O'Brian and Maxwell Awards, as well as finishing 4th in the Heisman voting in 1994. He led Penn State's offense in averaging more than 47 points per game and more than 520 offensive yards per game. He accomplished all of this without taking a single snap from shotgun, without running any kinds of option offense and without any kind of "hurry-up", "spread" or "no-huddle" approaches.
