The Asakusa Hyakki Yako Parade, officially titled “Asakusa Hyakki Yako Parade presented by YOKAI Immersive Experience Exhibition TOKYO,” is a Japanese yokai-themed parade held on April 4, 2026, in the Asakusa Rokku Broadway area. It was held as a related event of the exhibition “YOKAI Immersive Experience Exhibition TOKYO,” taking place at Warehouse TERRADA G1 Building in Tennozu, Tokyo. The parade was organized by the YOKAI Immersive Experience Exhibition TOKYO Executive Committee, with planning and production by Hitohata Co., Ltd. and TV Aichi. The procession featured approximately 80 yokai characters, including performers from the exhibition as well as pre-registered participants, creating a lively parade through the streets of Asakusa. “Hyakki Yako” (Night Parade of One Hundred Demons) is a concept from Japanese folklore describing a procession of various yokai moving together at night. Parades based on the theme of Hyakki Yako are also held in other parts of Japan, such as Tokyo Hyakki Yako in Koenji, Tokyo, and Ichijo Hyakki Yako along Ichijo Street in Kyoto. These events help preserve and present traditional yokai culture in a contemporary setting. 00:00 Hoppy Street 05:03 Rokku Broadway SAKURA STREET
