Ceiling Fan Display 2026 | #NCFD

Happy National Ceiling Fan Day! It was a journey to get this video done this year, but it is 100% the best I’ve ever put out. 42 fans on display inclusive of the studio! Once again the biggest yet. Coming at you in 4K, better clarity than I've ever been able to present. I'm so old school when it comes to equipment that this camera will continue to be a learning curve for me in order to maximize its potential, but after the stellar results it produced for my Lightovation video earlier this year, I knew it was going to be the solution to raising the bar on quality here. I was tight on time, so unless something really went off the rails, I had to just roll with the take and cut around it. Still took most of a day to get it all in. Medium speed got off to a rocky start. The Hinkley Atom got crossed over with the Rafter remote, which I had discovered during testing and thought I fixed, but then come video time the speeds still changed. So you'll see it on high as I approach, but then I took a moment to reset in that corner and cut the video best I could. HIRO is one of my favorite control systems, but I think I finally found the fault because it’s seemingly impossible to get them uncrossed. I did the hard reset/purge which seemed to work initially, now IDK what happened. Also, the Casablanca Julia is refusing to stay running on speed 1. It'll start up fast per usual, drop down slow, and immediately click off as if it encountered an obstruction. For about 30 minutes I thought I was going to have to swap it with something else and start over. We can't have a fan that doesn't run! Ultimately found out that if I start it at speed 2 and then drop it down to 1 after the speed settles, it'll stay going. It was working fine the last time I turned it on during testing. Just typical NCFD video things, there is ALWAYS a new problem that turns up day-off.
