Wukong jungle is a bruiser and teamfight engager. Farm efficiently, take manageable early fights, then use two Cyclone casts to disrupt the enemy backline.
Setup
• Summoners: Smite + Flash
• Skill order: Start E, then Q, then W; max Q E W, leveling R whenever possible. U.GG
• Runes: Use the current recommended Precision page, usually centered on Conqueror. Exact secondary runes and items can change between patches, so check the live build page before queueing. U.GG
First clear
A reliable full-clear route is:
Blue Gromp Wolves Raptors Red Scuttle
You can reverse the route when you want to finish near the opposite lane. Wukong's passive becomes stronger while continuously fighting monsters, so avoid unnecessary pauses between attacks. OP.GG
Only abandon your clear for a gank when the enemy is pushed up, low, or missing an escape. Otherwise, reach level 6 quickly - Cyclone is your major power spike.
Fighting and combos
Basic pre-6 trade:
E -auto Q -auto, then use W to chase, dodge, or disengage.
Level-6 engage:
E auto Q R W toward their escape Q second R
Important details:
• Q resets your auto attack, so use it immediately after an auto when possible.
• W is valuable defensively. Do not spend it just for damage when you may need to dodge crowd control or escape.
• Your clone can copy Q and Cyclone, so position it where it can hit important targets.
• You may cast R twice. Do not waste both casts immediately if the enemy still has mobility.
• Wukong performs especially well against physical-damage teams because his passive grants armor during extended combat.
Mid and late game
Fight around objectives rather than chasing random kills. Approach from fog or a flank, wait for key enemy crowd control, then engage the carries. You do not always need to assassinate someone: knocking up several enemies twice can win the fight for your team.
Avoid forcing into spread-out ranged teams without a flank. Wukong is strongest in tight fights around Dragon, Baron, and jungle corridors, where several enemies can be caught by Cyclone. Current data lists him as a strong jungle pick with roughly a 52-53% win rate, though that will vary by rank and patch. U.GG
