Basic Rules No Starting Farm No Starting Money No Loans Can only purchase land adjacent to already owned land Only exception is for the first piece of land Advanced Rules When doing contracts for Katie you must roll a perception (Katie) vs. deception (you) check When purchasing land from Katie you must roll a perception (Katie) vs. deception (you) check Deception bonus is calculated at +1 for every 10 pieces of property owned When attempting to purchase land from Katie and you have owned land adjacent to the one being purchased, you get to roll with Advantage If Katie roles a Nat 20 the playthrough is over and the save must be deleted If Katie roles a Nat 1 you can immediately purchase a second piece of land from Katie If the funds are not available you can do a contract for Katie without rolling Contract must be taken immediately If you roll a Nat 20 same rules apply as if Katie rolls a Nat 1 If you roll a Nat 1 the playthrough is over and the save must be deleted If Katie fails the perception check you may purchase the land or accept the contract If Katie wins the perception check the playthrough is over and the save must be deleted Back Story Daddio Greenleaf decided to leave his life of growing, processing and distributing cannabis products when the Canadian government began talks of legalizing the use and sale of the product. He sold all of his facilities and distribution networks for $1,000,000 with the intention of purchasing a small farm in Riverbend Springs. He also wanted to build a restaurant and provide all of the products used in it from his farm. On the opening day of the restaurant he got an anonymous letter from a neighbour saying that they knew about his old life and had evidence to prove it. The only neighbour he could think of that would do such a thing was Katie McAlister who he began to refer to as Evil Katie. Rather than risking exposure Daddio packed his bags and left. He found himself in a foreign country (Hutan Pantai) where no one knew of him or his past and where he thought he could have a fresh start. He created a vast empire near an ancient temple and all seemed well. He dipped his toes back into his old life and established deals with the local crime syndicates. It wasn’t long however before things took a turn for the worse. Another foreigner appeared and began turning the syndicates against Daddio. It could only be his arch nemesis Evil Katie. Once again Daddio left everything to start life anew back in a small town in Central Canada called Gnadenthal, Manitoba. He quickly realized that even here, Evil Katie has a presence and began drawing up a plan for her downfall…
