I Stayed Inside One of Tahiti’s Most Exclusive Communities

I stayed inside one of Tahiti’s most exclusive beachfront communities to experience a completely different side of the island away from the busy tourist areas of Papeete. Located in Puna'auia, Carlton Plage sits along Tahiti’s west coast and features an incredible lagoon-style swimming pool stretching more than 160 meters through the property. During my stay, I explore the community, enjoy the massive pool and head to nearby Vaiava Beach, also known as PK18, one of Tahiti’s most popular white-sand beaches. The clear lagoon here is known for swimming, snorkeling and exploring the marine life and coral reef just offshore.
