Old Geezer vs Kubota Fuel Filter Placement… What Engineer Thought This Was a Good Idea?

In this video this old geezer decides to remove one of the factory fuel filters and replace it with a fuel filter/water separator setup. Sounds simple enough… until I try to get my big meat hooks into the tiny little spot where Kubota hid the dang filter. Now tell me this… if a fuel filter is supposed to be changed regularly, why in the world would they cram it into a spot only a raccoon could reach? I scraped knuckles, invented new curse words, and still could barely get the thing loose. Some might have tiny fingers, but this geezer sure doesn’t. After fighting the factory setup, I finally get the new filter/water separator installed so hopefully this tractor will stay alive a little longer. If you like old guy wrenching, complaining about engineers, and fixing stuff the hard way, this one’s for you.
