Shibe takes a long time to settle down for a nap.

Ranmaru, a Shiba Inu, often takes naps. By napping and conserving his energy this way, he is able to head out for his walks in top form. In this video, Ranmaru returns from a walk, gets some mischief out of his system, and starts feeling sleepy. Usually, he would simply flop onto his side and drift right off to sleep, but this time he hesitates to lie down, remaining in a "down" position instead. He stays in that position for a while, dozing off and nodding his head as if he’s about to fall asleep any moment; finally, when his sleepiness reaches its peak, he lowers his head, lies down on his side, and at last begins his nap.
