This episode covers the coin toss through halftime, and it did not disappoint. Meade came out fast, scoring on their opening drive. Arundel answered right back — but Meade's kick return TD made sure nobody was getting comfortable. Ahmir Lowery flipped into hurry-up mode, spreading the ball to Naseem Tention and Darius Burton before TJ Mordecai broke off a big gain with pure agility. The defense got in on the scoring too — a pick six that turned a Meade drive into an Arundel touchdown. The DB coach's game-planning paid off again with a perfectly-timed big hit on a quick pass he called before it even happened. Things got heated on the field when Erynn Beavers and a Meade receiver started throwing hands mid-play — a reminder of exactly how much this rivalry means to both sides.
