🏓 400 OPEN PICKLEBALL TOURNAMENT 2026 | THE PICKLRS, CUMMING, GA
Another tournament. Another experience. More lessons to take home! 💪🔥
I recently competed at the 400 Open Pickleball Tournament at The Picklrs in Cumming, Georgia, participating in Men's Doubles and Mixed Doubles.
This time, we didn't make it to the medal rounds, but that's part of the journey!
Every tournament is an opportunity to test my skills, compete against talented players, identify weaknesses, and understand what I need to improve.
🏓 WHAT I'M TAKING AWAY
✅ Every match teaches you something new.
✅ Winning feels great, but losing gives you opportunities to learn.
✅ Consistency, shot selection, positioning, and execution matter.
✅ Improvement doesn't happen overnight — it takes thousands of repetitions, purposeful drilling, and consistent effort.
🔥 THE GRIND CONTINUES!
A huge thank you to my partners Anjana Gopan (Mixed Doubles) and Amit Agarwal (Men's Doubles) for competing alongside me and making this tournament a great experience!
And thank you to The Picklrs for hosting the tournament!
🎯 MY JOURNEY: ROAD TO 5.0
I'm an amateur competitive pickleball player sharing my journey toward becoming a 5.0 player.
Through Pickle with Umesh, I share full tournament matches, training sessions, drills, wins, losses, and everything I'm learning along the way.
My philosophy:
Learn → Drill → Measure → Play → Analyze → Improve
🏆 Medals are milestones, but improvement is the real goal.
