Tecnica Group on HELKO AMRs: Automating Production Logistics

What does it take to automate material handling in a production environment running three shifts a day? The solution combines 3 HELKO AMRs and 100 carts to transport baskets of plastic semi-finished components between the production areas. The robots tow the carts along predefined routes, while the software coordinates transport missions, priorities and material flows. The system connects intralogistics with production information, helping operators manage basket movements and maintain traceability throughout different processing stages. The project brings together mobile robotics, mission management and shop-floor automation to support a more consistent flow of materials across three eight-hour shifts.
