It is feasible to keep multiple hamsters in a single cage; once they reach adulthood, they generally stop biting one another. Although they continue to breed, the offspring are quickly consumed, preventing the population from growing—a pattern that aligns perfectly with natural ecological principles. For instance, in densely populated regions like China or East Asia, where resources are strained and space is limited, people tend to be more docile and actively avoid conflict, yet birth rates decline. Conversely, in countries with ample space and resources—such as the United States, New Zealand, and the UK—people often maintain a strong desire to have children, even amidst intense competition.
I would also like to mention here that the Chinese Communist government has recently resumed collecting certain levies—specifically, what they term "social insurance"—even from the unemployed. Nominally, the government claims this is to ensure future security for these unemployed individuals—such as providing for their old-age pensions. In reality, however, it is utterly absurd to expect someone earning a monthly salary of 3,000 RMB to hand over more than half of their wages now for a meager pension they might receive only after retiring in their sixties. Fundamentally, this stems from the abysmal fiscal discipline inherent in the Communist system; the state's finances are in shambles, forcing it to constantly plunder the wealth of the lower classes to sustain its rule and bankroll the massive apparatus of repression—or the core support base—that underpins its power. Ultimately, this is merely a matter of timing; I am convinced that the Chinese Communist government is heading toward total collapse in the coming years.
For me, life is pretty peaceful right now: I can look after my hamster, hoard Bitcoin, stick to my all-meat diet, and wait for the government I loathe to collapse—which is a pretty happy state of affairs. Oh, and I also want to mention that this all-meat diet has put me in excellent shape. Since cutting out carbohydrates, my body runs primarily on animal fat; I’ve noticed my skin stays incredibly clean and fresh. Even after a full day of working in the ER, my face remains dry and clear—completely free of the greasiness or rough texture I used to get after eating rice, noodles, or other carb-heavy foods. Plus, I no longer have any underarm odor; even when I sweat, there’s no nasty smell. I eat about two pounds of beef or lamb almost every day, along with as many eggs as I want. Even after working the night shift—from midnight to 8 a.m.—I don’t feel tired at all when I clock off, and I can bounce back feeling fully energized after just six hours of sleep.
All in all, my personal life has actually improved during this period; raising hamsters has allowed me to gain a sense of control—or rather, to satisfy my desire for control. Adopting a carnivore diet has ensured my physical health and enabled me to maintain this optimal mental state. Meanwhile, stockpiling Bitcoin has secured my current financial safety and opened up the possibility of future financial freedom. Watching the Communist government—which I detest—march toward its demise has also provided relief from my political depression.
This lifestyle has proven effective for me, and I hope that in a few years, I will see—or rather, demonstrate—even better results.
Oh, I’d also like to add that the cost of keeping these twenty-odd hamsters isn't actually very high. Every day, I feed them inexpensive peanuts, dried noodles, or leftover cooked rice; basically, their daily food cost comes to just around one yuan RMB.
