#Mankatha cinematographer Sakthi Saravanan joins The Cinematographers Collective to discuss the visual design of the film. In this episode, he breaks down the iconic intro sequence, the use of Angénieux EZ-Series zoom lenses and zoom as a visual language throughout the film and his camera preferences at the time.
The conversation also covers complex shots created using the Milo motion control rig, the container heist sequences, working with film cameras and post-processing workflows of that period, as well as his experiences collaborating with both recurring and first-time directors.
