Original 1960’s Tel-Ray Model 1001 Adineko Add-N-Echo Oil Can Delay

This is an early 1960's Tel-Ray Model 1001 Oil Can Echo that's all original and unrestored. It creates a cool watery chorus like slap-back effect that sounds like nothing else. It has a vacuum tube for audio, and creates its effect with a rotating disc made of anodized aluminum, the surface of which is coated with a suspension of carbon particles, rotating inside a sealed can with enough of a special oil to protect the charge held on the disk and to lubricate the entire assembly.
