Brisbane Gold Coast Line Express (incl. New Pimpama Station & Typical Beenleigh Line Trains)

After not being able to record the proper Gold Coast Line express services on my original visit to Brisbane due to trackworks meaning that the service was running as a combined service with the Beenleigh Line stopping at all stations and terminating at Banoon (   • Brisbane Gold Coast/Beenleigh Line Combine...  ), I returned in December to get this done. In this video we first spot some 220 and 160/260 series trains terminating at Beenleigh operating on the Beenleigh Line since my original video did not include this and was recorded on an NGR which usually would not operate all stations services / the Beenleigh Line, since it through-runs with the Ferny Grove Line where the NGRs do not travel to. Following this, we visit the new Pimpama Staton which opened since my previous visit to Brisbane, and then take a proper Gold Coast Line train service back to Roma Street (finally beyond Banoon from the original video so I had now travelled the entire train network except the Exhibition Loop), which runs express from Beenleigh to Boggo Road/Park Road, stopping only at Loganlea and Altandi! As of the 18th of May 2026, the new Hope Island Station will also be open on the Gold Coast Line.
