Howard Questions Scott’s Workday—Then Gives Him a Gold Star | Stern Fan Archives

Scott the Engineer faces questions about working on his son’s music while show assignments are waiting. Scott insists he uses his own time, but Howard wants a clearer account of his daily output—and the argument turns into an unexpected gold-star reward. Ralph joins the criticism, Sal is assigned a work checklist, and Scott ends up wearing a gold star marked “FOCUS.” The segment moves between genuine frustration over priorities and the crew’s increasingly ridiculous attempts to motivate him. This archive collection also includes Sour Shoes answering fan questions, Beth’s kitten-fostering work, Ask Howard, Richard’s excitement about Metallica, JD’s friendship with Lisa Ann and Jon Leiberman visiting Wendy at home. Later, the Wrap Up Show discusses Robin’s account of her illness and the support she received from the show.
