2024 D'Angelico Style B - Jonathan Stout - "When I Take My Sugar to Tea"

I had the pleasure of visiting the D'Angelico showroom in NYC back in September, and demoing not only their amazing vintage examples, but some of their new offerings. Earlier this week, I package arrived on my doorstep... and it was a beautiful new Style B for me to check out. The folks at D'Angelico were kind enough to swap in a reissue DeArmond model 1100 so I could balance it with bronze strings, and even set it up to my preferred string gauge (Martin SP 80/20 12's, but with a .014 and .018 swapped in on the High E and B). For this video, I’m plugged into my 1939 Gibson EH-185 amp, and playing over a track I recorded a while back on my 1932 Gibson L-5. All of which was captured by my AEA Ribbon Mics R84A.
