The applicable provisions depend on the original recording, privacy circumstances, nature of AI manipulation, consent, content, publication/transmission and available evidence. Section 77 BNS specifically concerns voyeurism involving a woman engaged in a private act in circumstances where she would ordinarily expect privacy. The 2026 IT Rules also specifically address certain forms of synthetic information involving non-consensual intimate imagery, sexually explicit content, bodily privacy and AI-generated/altered depictions of natural persons. 🚨 IF YOU ARE A VICTIM 1️⃣ Preserve screenshots, URLs and account details. 2️⃣ Preserve the original and altered content safely. 3️⃣ Do not unnecessarily forward intimate/deepfake material. 4️⃣ Report the content to the concerned platform. 5️⃣ File a complaint through the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal. 6️⃣ Approach the Cyber Crime Police / appropriate police authority. 7️⃣ Consider appropriate legal remedies for removal and prevention of further circulation. 📢 WATCH TILL THE END Because there is an important difference between: Original Private Video → AI Manipulation → Publication and Public Video → AI Manipulation → Fake Sexual Content The applicable legal provisions can differ depending on the facts. ⚖️ LEGAL DISCLAIMER This video is for general legal awareness and educational purposes only.
