Craig fought back fiercely, yet both of them were too focused on the threats ahead — this left an opening for the infected sneaking up from behind. Fearing Tweek would get hurt by enemies to their front, Craig told him to stand behind. This move left Tweek vulnerable to a surprise attack. As darkness was about to drag Tweek away, Craig snapped out of his daze and grabbed the back of Tweek’s shirt. But both struggled violently against each other; a chunk of the fabric tore off in Craig’s grasp. He lost his hold completely, forced to watch Tweek be taken away without a thing he could do. Overwhelmed by grief, Craig snapped in despair, carving a bloody path through the horde before fleeing the school. Main Segment Begins Now deep in the woods, Craig drowned in regret and dropped to his knees sobbing. A rustling sound from the bushes jolted him back to alertness. Kyle stepped out alongside his little brother, spotting the lone survivor Craig, forcing Craig into another fight. Mid-battle, Ike lunged at Craig to infect him just like in the original canon. But without Tweek to distract him, Craig stayed fully focused and stabbed Ike to the ground in one strike. Kyle stared in disbelief, then erupted in rage and charged Craig to wrestle him. Craig had already drained most of his stamina back at the school, and fueled by unbridled fury, Kyle gradually gained the upper hand. He seized an opening and wounded Craig badly. Helpless to fight back, darkness slowly crept over Craig’s body, though far less intensely than in the original version. Kyle chose not to finish him off, instead unleashing a torrent of insults once he saw Craig was defeated. But Craig refused to surrender; he snatched a rock off the ground and hurled it at Kyle. Wailing in agony from the blow, Craig took the chance to run. Enraged beyond words, Kyle swore he would beat Craig to death that day, sparking a deadly chase. Driven by the instinct to survive, Craig ran faster than he ever had before, eventually outrunning Kyle and reaching the town. There he spotted Kenny wandering the streets. Relieved to find another living survivor, Craig greeted him, and the two shared their traumatic experiences since the outbreak. Misfortune struck once more when Kyle tracked them down. Completely drained with no energy left to fight, Craig let Kenny step forward to defend him. Kyle’s repeated assaults were all repelled by Kenny’s pistol. Already worn out from prior fights, Kyle’s strength faded rapidly. He slowly regained his senses with Kenny’s help and was released. The three fled the town before Mkay and Kenny’s group arrived.
