My 30th Birthday in Wales Went Completely Off Plan! 🎂 | Campervan Adventure

YouTube Description I turned 30! 🎂 So for my birthday weekend, we packed Melissa, the kids and the dogs into the campervan and headed back to Wales for another family adventure. 🚐🐾 But this trip ended up becoming a lot more nostalgic than we'd planned. We spent the night at Talybont Reservoir, which was actually the first place we ever camped in our campervan. Coming back and staying there again brought back loads of memories from when we first started doing this. Then we went even further back... Before the campervan, there was the Passat. 😂 On our first ever family camping trip, we stopped in Abergavenny and had a Domino's, so for my 30th birthday weekend we decided we had to do exactly the same thing again. 🍕❤️ Same family. Same pizza stop. Slightly better camping setup. It was brilliant getting to relive some of those first adventures and realise just how much has changed since we started travelling together. Naturally, because it's us, the actual plan for the weekend didn't quite survive. 😂 We'd planned to visit the National Showcaves of Wales, but managed to miss the last entry. With that idea completely out the window, we went looking for somewhere else to explore and ended up discovering Henrhyd Falls, the incredible waterfall used as the exterior entrance to Batman's Batcave in The Dark Knight Rises. 🦇 We then explored Craig-y-Nos Country Park, had a beautiful walk around the estate and met a few unexpected animals along the way. So my 30th birthday weekend didn't exactly go to plan... But between revisiting the places where our family adventures began, making new memories with the kids and dogs, and finding Batman's Batcave, we're starting to think the unplanned trips might actually be the best ones. ❤️ Thanks for joining us for another adventure!
