In part two of our Turkey adventure, we head into the otherworldly landscapes of Cappadocia! Things didn't exactly start according to plan when our scheduled hot air balloon flight got canceled, but that didn't stop us from having an unforgettable time exploring everything this unique region has to offer. From wandering through the ancient underground caves and the Göreme Open Air Museum to staring up at massive monoliths, rock castles, and iconic fairy chimneys, Cappadocia blew us away. The real highlight of the trip, though? Renting ATVs and going full throttle through the dusty valleys—easily the absolute best way to experience the terrain up close.
