Electric Tigersaw Repair - Milwaukee SSPE 1000 QX

In this video you will see the tool Milwaukee reciprocating saw SSPE 1000 QX be repaired. I found this orbital saw in the trash. It was disassembled so I guess someone tried to repare it before me. There were several defects. The thyristor limiting the surge on startup did not work, and the safety capacitor was also blown. I did remove the thyristor, but i remounted a safety capacitor after the video was edited. It now works as it should, but have a little higher current draw the moment it is turned on.
