10 Men Crowd The Bat... Test Match Field! Fullers Premiership Cricket Highlights Horley vs Merrow

We hosted Merrow CC in the first game of our return fixtures. With Merrow sitting just in front of us in the league having had some great results we knew this would be a tough one. Although we had a great game against them last time we could tell they are a side not to be messed with. After losing the toss and being put in to bat it was obvious Merrow wanted to control the second innings and stand a chance of getting the full 20 points. After our failure last week and wanting to do better we had a strong team talk at the beginning of the game... the first thing being said was VALUE YOUR WICKET which im sure is what most of the viewers wanted to hear. Our batsmen went out and showed some real grit battling through drizzly rain and tough conditions remembering what had been said to them. With a very strong end to our innings we were called in early by Charlie to give us a few extra overs to bowl at Merrow. After a brisk start for Merrow it looked like they may have been going for the win, then wickets started falling... Im not going to ruin the rest for you but it was a white knuckle ride... WHAT! A!
