Seriously though, this chapter was really good. I still prefer Cats of a Common Sea because that just has one of my favorite stages in the entire game. And I shall bring back explanations for the stages! Yay! Timestamps: 0:00 A Vast Red Waste Okay so here is where I use Nova through out ZL. Sweet! Anyways, If you're going no uber here, Nova is basically required. Dark Dober, Techn-old, and Elizabeth are too much for Mewton, Clawvin, and Catcrates here, so Nova will be needed. Your job is to crowd-control the enemies and make sure they stay in one place. If they kill your CC units, then there's not much hope. Techn-old can also warp many things away, so make sure he only warps your meatshields at worse. Clawvin can help, but Dark Dober might rip him apart s po be aware of that. 1:51 Shadows Abound Oldstrich is back and we finally get a real challenge. No, don't cheese this stage, thats not nice hmph. It's a lot better when you play it properly, trust me. Anyways, you really just have to know when to shoot Holy Blast at Oldstrich, just know when to shoot it and what not. Oldstrich's last KB leaves him witn 400,000 HP, Holy Blast does 240,000 damage, so when Newton hits twice or before the second hit, then that's a good time to Holy Blast. Other than that, most other enemies usually die over tjme, but make sure to keep an eye out on the Roo variants, they can push you back suddenly. Use at Kang Roo at the start to build up money, as well. Also, if you're REALLY want to do the cheese, use Money start combos, use something to double cash Kang Roo, then use Bahamut with Idi/Yukimura. Really simple, but unfair. You also got to protect Bahamut so bring Green Shell or something. 3:57 Koala's Rest This one is somewhat tricky. At the start, you don't wat to build up a huge stack, but it has to be enough to where the Diabrollow and Kory can be handled. If you have a S Wave Resist Orb, then Cameraman is really good especially with that Wave Immune. Although, I'm not using it, so we'll have to do some jugging. You really don't want Puffzerker to attack, otherwise he'll destroy your entire stack. If you want, build up two Urils at the start to juggle Puffzerker a bit more consistently. Try critting Koronium as early as possible, though it is really hard since he has higher range than Deathkory, so you really want to kill him first. Utilizing Paperboy could work. Mewton helps too, though make sure your Octos are dying frequently, Newton will die very fast if not. Li'l Mohawk can work just fine if you get his Wave Immune talent, you also got Catasaurus to pair with him to create a Research S combo. 6:12 A Barrier Great I like this stage, not bad! It's not the same as Eldritch Forces, but it's definitely not mega harder. You don't get the time to stack up a Necro-Dancer stack, but due to a lot of powercreep, Mecha Bun isn't that hard. There's more threatening support, but Nova and Mewton are just too much, even just Mewton is enough. Then Bubble can stack up. You kinda just want Wave attackers or LD to deal with the incoming peons, that's it. To be completely honest though, you don't need Wave/LD units since Newton carries lol. Just bring Bubble or something and you're all good, spend your slots on something else. 7:48 Abore Aflame This stage either ends up you having to kill Zyclone multiple times or Zyclone dies within the first cycle. It's really simple to be fair, just stall put for money at the start, and then start deploying your units. Just calc for Zyclone. It's nearly the same as Oldstrich. Around 2 Mewton hits, then Zyclone should be good to go. Just a reminder... cleanup can be long if you don't have many units dedicated to Dark and is semi-fast, Kurosawah can take a bit to kill. This stage was made for Cleansing Flame Kaihime, the newest UF of 15.4. 10:55 The Navel of the Cat You'd think this stage would be hard, but it really isn't. It's suprisingly easy, probably the easiest stage in this subchapter. Though, it is debatable and up to you if this fits for a final stage of ZL. WahWah is almost not a threat, Midnite D is easily handled by Uril, and Bore Jr can be handled by any unit that can tank a hit and deal huge damage in one shot. Doron and Catcrates work perfectly for that. Teacher Bear comes to give bundles of money, it feels a bit flawed overall and too easy. Atleast, thats what I think. Just don't lose too much ground, and make sure to snipe WahWah with wave attacks to make sure your base isn't destroyed.
