The Madeira Flower Festival that takes place in spring when the flowers are at their best, has been one of Madeira's major attractions for both tourists and locals for a long time with floral installations, exhibitions, folklore groups, concerts, musical Allegoric parade, floral floats and a Classic Auto parade through the streets of Funchal. It’s definitely the most emblematic and colourful event of Madeira. This video shows part of the participating performances by the Flower Groups from the Allegoric Parade celebrating flowers, beauty and joy in a festive atmosphere held last year 2022 in Heliporto, with their colourful costumes (decorated with flowers typical of the archipelago) and choreography.
