A conversation with Y-S Columbus Leo 羅益世.
Y-S Columbus Leo 羅益世 is a Taiwanese-Canadian activist for Taiwan's democracy and independence. While blacklisted, Columbus managed to get back into Taiwan three times in 1988-89, and was tear-gassed & beaten up by police, deported, then imprisoned. He was recently exonerated (National Security Law and Sedition). He continues to be active internationally, and supports other countries. Columbus has been speaking in different forums, especially to young people in universities who did not know about the KMT's (Kuomintang) oppression.
