Art found me during one of the most difficult times in my life. When my son was deployed to Iraq, I turned to painting as a way to cope with the worry and uncertainty. What began as therapy soon became a passion and opened a whole new world of creativity for me. Today, I’m incredibly grateful that my son is home safely and back in college. Painting continues to be my happy place—a way to express myself, find peace, experiment with color, and create something completely unique. I love sharing my fluid art journey with you and hope my videos inspire you to try something creative too! ❤️ 🖌 MATERIALS & TECHNIQUES USED • Fluid Art Blooms on hexagon tiles • Valspar and Behr Dynasty house paint • Jo Sonja products • Acrylic paints • Floetrol for fluid consistency • Water for flow and consistency • Swipe techniques 🎨 MY POURING PAINT MIXTURE I generally mix: 1 part acrylic paint to 2 parts Floetrol, then add water as needed until I reach the consistency I want. 🎨 MY SWIPE / CELL ACTIVATOR • Amsterdam Titanium White or Amsterdam Oxide Black • Mixed approximately 1 part paint to 3 parts Australian Floetrol ✨ KS RESIN DISCOUNT I use KS Resin for many of my resin projects. https://www.ksresin.com?ref=8432 Use discount code: RachelArtisticStudio10 ✨ Save 10% off your order! 🖼️ ARTWORK FOR SALE All of my artwork is available for purchase unless otherwise noted.
