In this video, we take you along on our journey through Japan and share what our experience was really like, from hotels, hostels, ryokans and onsens to restaurants, temples, popular destinations and quieter, more rural areas like the Izu Peninsula. Over the course of the trip, we visit Tokyo, the Izu Peninsula, Kyoto, Nara, Osaka and Wakayama. Along the way, we explore some of Japan's most popular sights, discover a few hidden gems, and share our thoughts, experiences and recommendations for anyone planning their own trip. This is part one of a two-part journey through Asia, with our South Korea trip covering Seoul coming soon.
