Welcome to my first crochet tutorial! ✨
In this video, I’ll show you how to crochet a triangle scarf with a scalloped edge. It’s a simple, relaxing project — mostly single crochet — perfect for cozy evenings or quick stitches on the go.
Yarns I used:
Rico Design Essentials Baby Alpaca & Silk in 014 Staub/Dust
ZEN by Lang Yarn in 025 Navy Blue (my favorite!)
A blue-gray version made with two strands of a mohair-silk mix (unfortunately I don’t remember the brand).
⏳ Time: about 6–7 hours to complete
🎁 Gift idea: I made a few of these for Christmas last year, and they’re still very loved!
🍂 Future plans: I’d love to try a larger, shawl-style version this autumn/winter — maybe even with some new edge designs.
Scarf size in this tutorial:
One skein (25g / 200m) was enough, with some yarn left over.
Before blocking: ~27 cm high (tip to edge).
After blocking (lightly stretched): ~28.5 cm.
Finished size with scalloped edge: ~31 cm high, ~80 cm wide along the top edge.
I hope you enjoy crocheting this scarf as much as I did! 💙
