Take a look at these hiking trails. These are a series of trails around the San Fransico Bay Area. These aren’t particularly remote trails, and they’re a popular spot for hikers and families from nearby cities. In the late 1970s, though, something strange started happening here. People began disappearing from these hiking trails. At first, it seemed like an isolated incident, but then it happened again, and again and again. Soon enough, people were terrified and warned not to travel alone on the trails. And this fear was entirely justified. When it was finally discovered what was happening in the woods here, it was far more horrifying than anyone could have imagined.
