Island of the Blue Dolphins: Epic Weird-Girl Survival Fantasy

Nothing fills the hearts of the lonely weird-girls of the lunchroom quite like having a plethora of animal companions, whether real or imagined. In today's episode, Catherine and Kristen do a deep dive on the lore of Karana, the heroine of Scott O'Dell's classic Island of the Blue Dolphins. But that's not where the story ends: they'll cover the true story of Juana Maria, the real-life woman of San Nicolas island.
