Nethers Flint Farm – Flint Ridge Flint Quarry – Dig Your Own Flint!

I have wanted to visit a flint quarry for a while now, so today, I went to the Nethers Flint Farm to dig some flint. This farm is on the Flint Ridge Flint seam, which is 10 miles long and 3 miles wide and it is a few feet below the ground surface. It is around 30 miles east of Columbus Ohio. They charge a $10 per adult digging fee and $1 per pound for the flint you take home.
