𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗟𝗲𝘆𝗶 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗴𝗼 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝗣𝗼𝗽𝗹𝘂𝗻𝗴, 𝗥𝘂𝗸𝘀𝗶𝗻 ADI NEWS 𝗣𝗢𝗣𝗟𝗨𝗡𝗚, 𝗥𝗨𝗞𝗦𝗜𝗡, 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁 𝟭𝟬: The 1st Ever Leyi Banggo Central Solung was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Poplung, Ruksin, marking a significant occasion for the people of Depi, Depi-Moli, Detak, Deping and Poplung villages, who came together for the first time to jointly celebrate the festival. The celebration was graced by Deputy Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh Chowna Meinas the Chief Guest, while Ojing Tasing, Minister of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Arunachal Pradesh, attended as the Guest of Honour. Among the special invitees were Tapir Gao, MP, East Arunachal Pradesh; Ninong Ering, MLA, 37th Pasighat; Kaling Moyong, BJP State President; Tojir Kadu, MLA, 36th Nari-Koyu; Tapi Darang, MLA, 38th Pasighat; Ruth Tabing, ZPC East Siang; Dui Gao, wife of MP Tapir Gao; Pankaj Lamba, SP, East Siang; Pebika Lego, ADC, East Siang; Tanon Tatak, President, ABK; Tani Tapo, President, AdiSU; Tapar Gamoh, President, District Olympic Association, Pasighat, along with village elders, Gaon Burahs, ZPMs, public leaders and villagers. Addressing the gathering, MP Tapir Gao highlighted the need for the upgradation of the Primary Health Centre and also spoke about the new eligibility criteria for State-level examinations in Arunachal Pradesh. Minister Ojing Tasing emphasised the importance of preserving and promoting local language, traditions and cultural heritage. He urged villagers to think collectively about practical solutions and alternatives to address the growing challenges of global warming and environmental changes. He also assured the gathering that he would discuss the demands concerning Panchayat segments within the circle and convey the response after the matter is examined. Chief Guest Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein announced a Rs.50 lakh allocation for the construction of a new Inspection Bungalow (IB) at Ruksin. He stressed that while modernization and development are essential, people must remain firmly rooted in their own land, community, culture and heritage. Mein also highlighted the importance of plantation, biodiversity conservation, Self-Help Groups (SHGs), entrepreneurship and MSME development for strengthening local livelihoods. He assured the gathering of 100 per cent commitment towards the area and acknowledged the memoranda submitted regarding the proposed separation of the new Leyi Banggo. The historic first-ever Central Solung celebration brought together the participating villages, community leaders and people in a spirit of unity, cultural pride and collective development, making the occasion an important milestone for Leyi Banggo.
