Marvel Turned the X-Men Into Monsters (Midnight X-Men #1)

Music by Karl Casey @ White Bat Audio https://karlcasey.bandcamp.com/ What happens when you take the X-Men, strip away the heroic optimism, and throw them headfirst into a brutal, blood-soaked war between human and mutant vampires? Jonathan Hickman is back in the X-world, and he is not playing around! Today on Post Crisis Comics, Cardinal Randy and Bishop Cookie dive deep into Midnight X-Men #1. We're breaking down vampire Storm, sword-wielding Nightcrawler, the shocking brutality of the new "Empyre" and Vampire factions, the gorgeous artwork and whether this grim new status quo lives up to the hype or stumbles in the dark.
