Wood Carving A Spoon With Coals! I learned this wood carving technique in a wilderness survival course and found it so relaxing and therapeutic, so I naturally thought to make it an ASMR video. Knots make it very hard to carve into Cut as much wood as possible with the axe before you start using the knife. It saves so much time. The liquid I use in the end is canola oil. You can use any oil, but you can use a finishing oil if you'd like a nice varnish. The point of finding a smooth rock to rub the spoon on is to smoothen the spoon itself!
