Cleveland Browns are 2-1 after defeating Carolina Panthers

We break down the Cleveland Browns’ surprising 2-1 start, arguing the team can be dangerous with even average quarterback play given their manageable schedule. After being smoked by Jacksonville in Week 1, the Browns rebounded by beating Tampa Bay with Deshaun Watson outplaying Baker Mayfield, then won the home opener against Carolina behind a standout defensive performance and a clutch game-winning drive from Watson. Watson was inconsistent, but he used his legs to extend plays, while Harold Fannin got open for the key TD. Concerns include an offensive line with five new starters, penalties, and growing pains from Spencer Fano and penalties by Tytus Howard. The defense, led by pass rushers Mason Graham, Mike Hall, and Jared Verse, plus coordinator Mike Rutenberg’s blitzing, sets up a critical Thursday night matchup with the Steelers and Aaron Rodgers. 00:00 Browns Surprise Start 00:56 Watson Clutch Home Win 01:44 Watson Using His Legs 02:21 Offensive Line Growing Pains 03:01 Defense Dominates Panthers 04:17 Rutenberg Scheme And Blitzes 05:53 What It Means Going Forward 06:25 Steelers Thursday Night Preview #Browns #DeshaunWatson #carolinapanthers
