One of the most emotional and unforgettable performances of my 32-year career. ❤️ Yesterday, I had the incredible honour of stepping onto the stage at CarFest in front of 35,000 people to pay tribute to the one and only Dolly Parton. To stand there and hear 35,000 voices singing I Will Always Love You together was simply breathtaking. It was a moment of love, celebration and remembrance for a woman whose music, kindness and extraordinary personality touched millions of people around the world. Having portrayed Dolly for more than 32 years, I have been incredibly fortunate to have met her, appeared alongside her on television and received her personal endorsement of my portrayal on BBC’s The One Show. I have also performed at the O2 during Dolly’s world tours and been honoured at the Grand Ole Opry. But this moment at CarFest will stay with me forever. My heartfelt thanks to Chris Evans, the entire CarFest team and Silverstone for inviting me to be part of such a special tribute. And thank you to those 35,000 beautiful voices who joined me.
