In this video, I show you how I colour the Christmas holly leaves and how you can easily create white fine lines in your colouring using the indenting technique. No special tools are needed. Just a toothpick. :D You will have to create the indenting lines before starting to colour. To make it work make sure you press hard on the toothpick. For creating shadows, I tested here a new idea, picked up from coloured pencil artist Kendyll Hillegas, using a contrasting colour. (Red for shading the green leaves.) To increase the contrast I added some black too. For this colouring, I have used Faber Castell Polychromos pencils and a few Classic Colours for blending. F.C. Polychromos: Dark red 225, Pine green 267, Permanent green 266, Light green 171, Light yellow glaze 104, Dark phthalo 264. F.C. Classic colours: greens 359 and 370, yellow 304. The illustration I colour is one of the Christmas tiny illustrations created by me, @agotapopillustration The full set with the 24 tinies is available on my Etsy shop http://www.etsy.com/shop/AgotaPopIllu...
