Alex Eala Sends Japan Into a FRENZY — Pan Pacific Open Tickets SELL OUT in Just 30 Minutes!

She is the No. 8 seed, the World No. 20, a former US Open junior champion, and the most famous tennis player in the history of the Philippines. She is also coming off a brutal Asian Swing—three tournaments, three losses to lower-ranked opponents, three moments where the dream slipped away. Across the net stands a 17-year-old British wildcard ranked No. 308 in the world. A girl who won the same US Open junior title two years after Eala did. A girl with nothing to lose and everything to gain. The tennis world is calling it a mismatch. But Alex Eala knows better than anyone that the WTA 500 draw does not care about rankings. It cares about who shows up. And on Monday in Tokyo, at the Pan Pacific Open, the clash nobody can ignore will finally begin. This is the story of the ghost of the Asian Swing, the wildcard nobody expected, the pressure on Eala, and the match that waits.
