"Pocahontas" - UK VHS Trailer Reel (1996)

As I said before, this was the first film I remember seeing in the cinema and I know it has a weird rep recently but...well, to me, while it isn't the BEST Disney film out there, well...are you really expecting a Disney adaptation of the Pocahontas legend to be truthful to what actually happened? I think its a silly notion to think they'd be 100% historically accurate at all, but it doesn't mean that as a film its bad. Because it isn't, IMO, just not as good as others around that same sort of time. Anyhoo, let's start! CONTENTS!: 1) Blue Warning text 2) "Beware of Illegal Video Cassettes" Anti-Piracy Promo (Sorry for the jittering here, btw.) 3) "Now Showing at a Cinema Near You" 4) "Toy Story" trailer w/ alternate narration (When you really think about it, its mesmerizing just how dramatically the landscape of animated films have changed since "Toy Story" came out. And its even more mesmerizing to know that this film has actually aged so, so well too!) 5) "Coming Soon from Disney Videos" 6) Promo for "Around the World with Timon & Pumbaa" 7) "101 Dalmatians" Home Video Promo 8) "Coming Soon from Disney Interactive" 9) Advert for "Disney's Animated Storybook: Pocahontas" and "The Lion King Activity Centre" for PC (I had the former. All the "Animated Storybook" titles I had were extremely good...besides the "Hunchback of Notre Dame" one, that was just "okay". Well it depends, its been so long since I played it that I'm not sure. But there we go~ ;) ) 10) Disneyland Paris advert, featuring Space Mountain (Proberbly the coolest ad for a single theme park attraction ever. The world stood still for me whenever I saw this.) 11) Stay Tuned bumper, promoting "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" (I remember first watching this and thinking "The Hutchback of Not Re WHAT?"...then I stayed put until the end of the tape and it all made sense. Obviously I was a very young kid back then, otherwise I'd sound like an idiot. ;) Or more of one, in my case.) 12) Disney Videos ID 13) A built-up with no resolution, because this upload ends here. Trololololo.
