Didn't remember at the time, but this is also the full 245/245 Harmonix GH sweep (GH1: 49/49, GH2 OPM Demo: 4/4, GH2 (PS2): 64/64, GH2 (X360): 98/98, GH80s: 30/30). I am against lag glitch scores on the leaderboards (custom controllers even moreso), as such the 6 PS2 songs listed as 2nd are not on the site but were still tied/beaten here:    • GH2 (PS2): The Lag Glitch Chronicles (True...   This was basically I'm the One v2 (almost two years to the day I got/posted that funny enough). Spent almost two weeks reloading states in PCSX2, most of which was slowly building up speed for the O wall on controller. Thankfully I already had some good experience grinding up to the O from my last "grind" of this for an Xbox score:    • GH2 (X360): Trogdor Stuff   , but I still had to put a good amount of time in to find any semblance of consistency reaching them (tbh was usually a nice break from the 17nps mash practice). In comparison to ItO, the section is a lot shorter and slower, but that's about where the positives end. Should be obvious, but reaching the O is substantially harder than reaching 2A, especially given the pause. The setup from the beginning of the strumming to the pause is near frame perfect, especially if you're trying to get as big of a break between the post O hopo pause and the following strum as possible. In TAS most of the time I could see the following O on the pause screen, it was a frame perfect input to hit it since for whatever reason it would just disregard an input on a certain frame. Can't say for certain whether that transferred to Xbox/hardware obv, but almost every time I could see the following O I would miss it. The other big difference between this and ItO is that while the speed is much slower, you're not alternating between two switches like you are while strumming, so not releasing A is a big headache and failure mode. Worth noting I'm no speed demon in these games or traditional button mashers in general, so this was probably a fair bit more difficult for me than it would be for some. May just be a personal quirk, but since this was the best position I could find for mashing it introduced another big hassle which was accidentally hitting the shoulder buttons. Since the RT/B is basically resting on my leg and the Xbox triggers have no give, weeding out those inputs was a constant struggle. Another frankly just evil issue was that the same phenomenon would happen on G while whammying the final O. Despite all the pain this put me through (mostly in practice), I can't deny I got very lucky on this. The first run hitting all the O didn't over or under hit, and despite having a very tenuous grip on the controller managed to not misinput beyond. I guess I'll also address the elephant in the room, in that I did this on an SG. This is still an unmodified (besides replacing the back button with a Les Paul's) RedOctane GH controller and functions identically to any other (particularly a LP with the Start/Select orientation), namely the strum limit is in full effect here. This is the same controller I used for all score grinding on both PS2/Xbox, if that ruins the "stock hardware" accolade for any sticklers than so be it, but I hope I've proven I know this engine at this point. I did this mostly for score regardless when I realized an FC would just so happen to hit 100k 1st overall on Xbox.
