”Drawing is where it all starts.” We met British artist Pam Evelyn while working on a print and talked with her about her love for drawing.
“It's really the beginning of ideas. There's a freedom in that, and you can really open up many questions without having answers straight away. You know that the possibility and potential is there. And then, yeah, it just opens everything up.”
”Drawing is such a fluid thing. It can happen anywhere, whether that's something that hits you in the moment while you're traveling on the trains a lot. So there are these sort of fleeting images that constantly pass me. You're sitting motionless, the world's passing by, and in those moments, really, my mind flees away, and drawing then becomes the perfect thing to capture those fleeting ideas.”
