FLY FISHING in the Catskill Mountains, NY

Spent a fall afternoon fishing a small Catskills' stream in NY. Caught a mix of Rainbows and Browns. The key was adjusting to the signs I saw....there were occasional risers and fish flashing up/midway in the column going for BWO adults and emergers. I moved my dropper up high and really started getting into fish. The fly that stood out was a size 18 olive quilldigon on the dropper. The other flies on the bottom were a size 16 generic walt's worm, size 16 olive krystal flash perdigon, and a size 14 blowtorch. I give some helpful pointers along the way.
