Meet OTAMATONE - the Bizarre Sound Machine Everyone's Talking About

I just received a very curious birthday present - Otamatone - quirky toy instrument which is shaped like an eighth note. It's actually a monophonic synthesizer, a very cool Japanese invention that is enjoying a global comeback right now thanks to the viral show from Spain's Got Talent. In this video I will show you how it works and what you can do with it. Since this is a fretless instruments, to make the sounds more predictable a simple trick is to put paper tape on the side of the stem and with the help of the tuner mark the exact notes of your scale you want to play. The easiest scale would be some diatonic mode like C major. But in the long run, more notes will be needed for me to play in more keys, so I'm going to mark all 12 notes of a chromatic scale.
