The Road to WAR (West Virginia) and then to the Sodom and Gomorrah of Appalachia #darkhistory

Day 2 of my journey through Dark Appalachia waking up in Pikesville where we ended yesterday and then off to War, West Virginia and stops along the way to see abandoned structures, and onwards to Welch where Sid Hatfield was murdered on the courthouse steps by agents of the coal mines, and then to Keystone, home of the notorious 19th century Red Light District known as the Cinder Bottoms where murder, vice and sin were a stain on coal country, so lawless that even the Law stayed away.
