Many commuters and travelers utilize the station to travel to downtown offices and retail or to transfer from different services like buses and rail. Around every ten minutes a 2-line train arrives from Redmond in the east or from Seattle and Lynnwood in the west. As of now, trains are made up of Series 1 and 2 trainsets that usually consist of two to three light rail vehicles. Due to increasing traffic on the line, especially since the launch of the extension across Lake Washington, I think four car trains will be required in the near future, as the trains can get a little crowded, even in parts of the day off-peak.
