Come to Me || A Prayer for Seeking Rest There are burdens we were never meant to carry in our own strength. YaHUSHA gives us an invitation: COME TO ME. In this Shabbat prayer and meditation, we come before YaHUaH with the labor of our hands, what we have been carried, the pain that has tried to name us, and the places we have tried to hold together ourselves. Through His Word, we will lay down the yoke that has grown heavy and learn to take upon ourselves the gentle yoke of our Master, to come rather than flee, to surrender rather than carry alone, and to serve not by our own might or power, but by His Ruach. As His Blessed and Set-apart Shabbat draws near, may our beings learn what it means to hear His invitation and answer: I come. May YaHUSHA teach us His way, help us bear what remains, and give Rest unto our beings. For His yoke is gentle, and His burden is light. Shalom, achoti.
