Devil In The Rearview | Gospel Blues | Isaiah Mercy Calder

Modern blues and gospel blues from Isaiah Mercy Calder. A soulful blues song about leaving the devil in the rearview, letting the old calls ring out, and driving into a new day with Jesus up front. "Devil In The Rearview" is a getaway song. A man is on the road at dawn with gas station coffee and a map he doesn't even need, because he already knows where he's going. Behind him, the devil gets smaller every mile. Up front, Jesus is riding with him and the road is rolling clean. His phone keeps lighting up with the men from his old life, and he lets every call ring out. He doesn't answer a single one. He just lets the sunrise tell him what the night had done. This is modern blues with a soulful, gospel heart. It's about the quiet kind of victory: no big fight, just a man who stops answering the old life and keeps driving. If you're trying to leave something behind, this one's for you. Subscribe for more soulful blues and gospel blues from Isaiah Mercy Calder. #ModernBlues #GospelBlues #Bluesmusic
