Thank you for watching 🤍 This time, while getting ready for winter, I talk about my old job — and how I've come to realize I'm just not cut out for company life. I'll keep doing my best so this little happiness — a warm hot pot at the kotatsu — can last for a long, long time. 🍴 Today's menu 🍚 Daikon & Pork Mille-feuille Hot Pot ▶ Ingredients ・Pork (belly) ・Daikon radish ・Pea shoots ☆ Seasoning ・Kimchi base — 2–3 tbsp ・Miso — about 1 tbsp ・Mirin — about 1 tbsp ▶ How to make ① Thinly slice the daikon and layer it alternately with pork belly, packed in tightly. ② Add water until the daikon is about 2/3 covered, drop in a little rice, and simmer until tender (chop the daikon leaves and add them too). ③ Add the kimchi base and pea shoots, and simmer. ④ Season with miso and mirin to taste — done! The key is to simmer it low and slow ☺️ 🍚 Natto Omelette ▶ Ingredients ・2 eggs ・1 pack of natto ☆ Seasoning ・Mayo — about 1 tsp ・Mentsuyu — 2 tsp ・The sauce that comes with the natto ▶ How to make ① Mix the eggs, mayo, and mentsuyu. ② Pour the egg into the pan, then add the natto. ③ Flip it nicely and it's done! For dessert, persimmons in season 🧡🧡🧡 Every little bit of support means the world to this small channel 🤍 🍎 https://buymeacoffee.com/suuinjapan Thank you for being here 🤍 #livinginjapan #japanlife #reallifeinjapan #dailylifeinjapan #frugalliving #smallincome #singlemom #japanesecooking #japanesehomecooking #hotpot #nabe #winter #slowliving #simpleliving #cozyvlog #Tohoku
